Terms and Conditions

1. About Us

Lily Vale is a South Wales-based independent florist specialising in funeral and tribute arrangements.

2. Orders

  • Orders may be placed online, by telephone, or in writing.
  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
  • A full description of the product, including size, style, and flower types, will be agreed at the time of order.
  • For funeral work, customers must provide accurate service dates, times, and delivery addresses.


3. Products & Substitutions

  • All floral arrangements are hand-made and may vary slightly from the images shown.
  • In the event that certain flowers are unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute them with flowers of equal or greater value, while maintaining the overall style, colour scheme, and value of the arrangement.
  • Fresh flowers are a natural product; colours and shapes may vary slightly.


4. Prices & Payment

  • All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT (if applicable).
  • Payment is required in full at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept payment via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other methods listed on our website.


5. Delivery

  • Delivery charges will be confirmed at the time of order.
  • We deliver to [list delivery areas or say “local funeral directors, churches, crematoria, and private addresses within X miles of our business address”].
  • Delivery will be made to the address provided. We cannot be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete address details.
  • Funeral arrangements will be delivered in line with the agreed schedule for the service.


6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Orders for funeral flowers can be cancelled up to 72 hours before the scheduled delivery time for a full refund.
  • Cancellations within 72 hours of delivery may be charged in full if materials have already been ordered or the arrangement has been made.
  • Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method.


7. Quality & Complaints

  • We take pride in the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence so we can investigate.
  • Due to the perishable nature of flowers, we cannot accept returns unless the product is faulty or damaged on arrival.


8. Events Beyond Our Control

  • We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, supplier failures, traffic incidents, or force majeure events.


9. Personal Data

  • We will process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
  • Your details will only be used for fulfilling your order and related customer service.


10. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.

Return and Refund Policy

At Lily Vale, we take great care in preparing and delivering our floral arrangements. Each piece is made to order with fresh flowers, and we want every customer to be happy with their purchase.


1. Perishable Goods

  • Fresh flowers are a perishable product and are non-returnable unless they are faulty or damaged upon delivery.
  • Due to the natural variations in colour, size, and shape of flowers, some differences from product images are to be expected. These differences do not constitute a fault.


2. Faulty or Damaged Items

  • If your flowers arrive damaged or not as described, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
  • You may be asked to provide photographic evidence so we can assess the issue and offer an appropriate resolution.
  • Where a replacement is not possible (e.g., funeral orders that have already taken place), we may offer a partial or full refund.


3. Cancellations

  • Orders for funeral flowers may be cancelled up to 72 hours before the agreed delivery time for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 72 hours may be subject to full or partial charges if materials have been ordered or the arrangement has been completed.


4. Refund Method

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.
  • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days of approval.
